Sunyana Sharma has developed a strong practice in personal injury law over the years. This coincides well with her regulatory practice in health and safety and trading standards and equips her well for claims relating to animals specifically under the Animals Act 1971.
She regularly advises on both liability and quantum as well as drafting pleadings and other documents. Sunyana undertakes work on behalf of Claimants and Defendants. Her court experience spans trials, interlocutory applications such as strike out and set aside applications, contested costs hearings and quantum hearings.

Sunyana also appears for interested parties in Coroner’s Inquests. One such case led to her advising on the quantum claim of the fatality on behalf of the family.
Sunyana regularly acts pro bono for Victim Support in appeals to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.
CC v. MPS [2012] a civil action against the police for the excessive use of force when exacting arrest.
CD v. FH [2012] A door porter at a Dorset Hotel sustaining severe burns and scarring as a result of a workplace accident.
ZP-W v. RRC [2011]: An instructor of horses who suffered a fracture following a fall at work.
