Property & Chancery

Philip is a commercial chancery practitioner who is regularly instructed to appear in the High Court and County Courts on all manner of hearings and applications. He is a member of our Property & Chancery Group, with particular experience in the following areas:

• Landlord and Tenant: commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes, possession hearings, applications for new business leases, rent arrears and service charges, disrepair and dilapidation claims.
• Personal Insolvency: bankruptcy petitions, applications to set aside statutory demands, annulment.
• Property: nuisance, trespass, easements, mortgages, rentcharges.

In addition to appearing in court on a regular basis, Philip maintains a busy paper-based practice advising on disputes in these areas and drafting pleadings and other documents as required
