Mark Green accepts instructions in all principal areas of Chambers’ practice. His particular interests lie in Employment, General Common Law, Personal Injury and Public and Regulatory law.
Mark acts regularly for both Claimant and Defendant in a variety of cases, including disposal hearings, contractual disputes, possession hearings and interim applications. He also has a busy advisory practice.
Mark has a broad experience of Employment law, from advice on prospects through to full merits hearings at the Employment Tribunal in claims for whistleblowing, constructive unfair dismissal and victimisation. He is a member of ELBA.
He has also undertaken public law work on a Pro-Bono basis at the Social Security and Pension Appeals Tribunals, and has assisted Buckinghamshire County Council’s education appeal tribunals.
Before coming to the Bar, Mark taught in schools both in the Midlands and in Rome. leading to a particular interest in Education law. He also worked as an intern for the World Health Organisation, Geneva in the field of Bioethics. He was the Guardian Young Travel Journalist of the Year in 2001.
Fluent French and Italian; working knowledge of German and Spanish; basic Japanese.
