Employment

Craig developed a keen interest in employment law whilst at University where he attained a first class degree result for his essay on industrial relations law. He carried this interest through to the Bar Vocational Course where he attained a ‘very competent’ grade in this subject.

In practice Craig has recently acted for claimants and respondents in a number of cases (at all stages of the employment tribunal process) involving the following areas of employment law:

  • Unfair dismissal.
  • Wrongful dismissal.
  • Direct and indirect discrimination (sexual, racial, disability etc.).
  • Harassment and bullying claims.
  • Unlawful deductions from wages.
  • TUPE.
  • Victimisation.
  • Claims made under the whistle blowing provisions.
  • Equal Pay Act.

He is a member of the Employment Law Bar Association.
